The Albums Behind the Designs

Some of our designs carry the names of 01099's albums. If you don't speak German, the titles already tell a story on their own. Here's what each one means, and why it works so well on a shirt.

Altbau (2022)

An Altbau is an old apartment building, the kind with high ceilings and tall windows that line the streets of Dresden-Neustadt. It's a title about home and the places you grow up in, which makes it a natural fit for everyday wear.

Blaue Stunden (2023)

Blaue Stunden means "blue hours": the short time after sunset when the sky turns deep blue and the night hasn't quite started. It's a soft, slightly dreamy title for the moments between day and night.

Kinder der Nacht (2024)

Kinder der Nacht means "children of the night". It's for the ones who stay out after the last song and walk home as the sky gets light. If that's you, this one is yours.
